Jeremiah’s Crossing is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback-riding ranch located in Babcock, Wisconsin, dedicated to helping horses help children and adults with diagnosed physical, cognitive, emotional, and academic special needs at no cost to the riders or their families.
Located on a 138-acre wooded site, complete with riding trails, individuals with special needs participate in Equine Assisted Activities (EAA) Lessons. Friends of Jeremiah’s Crossing helped build a new outdoor arena in 2013. The new space is beautiful and much more “weather-proof” than our old lesson arena.
Jeremiah’s Crossing is God’s ranch. He has made provision for many people to be involved, using their gifts and talents to help others. We hope you will become part of the Jeremiah’s Crossing team.
If you choose to serve God at Jeremiah's Crossing:
Bring your work camp group to Jeremiah’s Crossing to experience a unique opportunity to serve others. Horses, folks with special needs, and the great outdoors await your arrival!
Come for a day, a weekend, or a week.
Bring the kids, the parents, the grandparents. Bring a few, or bring a crowd.
There are always projects to be done. We will tailor a work camp experience to fit your group.
We are able to accommodate groups that are willing to provide their own tents or campers, or if you’d prefer, there is offsite camping available at a nearby county park.
If motels are more your style, check out opportunities in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids.
