Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia.
ASP provides one of the most rewarding structured service opportunities in the nation — bringing over 17,000 volunteers a year, of all ages (14+), from 35+ states to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes with low-income families.
For 47 years, we’ve made homes “warmer, safer, and drier” for families and provided transformational service experiences for volunteers. Last year, 17,030 volunteers served with ASP, providing critical repairs for 642 families. However, we have 5,410 families who are still on our application list. Every seven person work crew that you bring means one more family will be served.
Come join us as we serve, learn, teach, and work to eradicate substandard housing in Central Appalachia.
